“You look like you could use some help,” you offer to the kitten, but just then the kitten seems to have freed himself from the foliage and crawled closer to the plaque at the end of the branch.

“I’m fine, thanks,” the kitten says, releasing the plaque, which drops down to the grass below. In an instant, he jumps down, and lands softly on his feet.

“What is that thing, anyway?” Lolo asks.

“It’s a map,” the kitten replies, assuredly. “It points the way to the source of the magic.”

“What magic?” you ask.

“Why, the magic of the pet shop, of course!” the kitten says. “Only, it doesn’t point in one direction, it points in three.”

“Leave it to a cat to say something like that!” Tasi says. “Maps don’t point in any direction.” The kitten merely rolls his eyes.

“This is a magic map that locates the power source and the pet shop’s location,” the kitten reveals. “I want to find the source of its powers, which will be around the center of the triangle you see on this map.”

“The top of the triangle is pointing to where we are now,” Lolo says excitedly.

“Exactly,” the kitten says. “The other two points are the possible locations where the pet shop will land. I need to get to the center before it lands or it will reorient and the triangle you see here will move, along with the center source of power.”

“Trust a cat to make things more complicated!” Tasi says.

“I suggest you lose that one, and then get on your way,” the kitten says, looking at Tasi. “As you can see, the pet shop will soon land over near the airport or near the stadium. They are far from here so you only have time to go to one location before the pet shop disappears again. I wish I could tell you which way to go, but there is no way for me to be more precise.”

You say:

“It would never fly near the airport because they have radar so we need to go to the stadium."{D-6-B}

Or

“There’ll be so many things flying around the airport. It’s the perfect place to land unnoticed.”{D-6-A}
