The condor comes in for a landing, the wind from its huge, flapping wings knocks you and the others over, frightening the cat away.

“Get away!” Sunny cries, but just as you begin to take flight, the condor calls to you.

“Wait, please!” he shouts. “I’m not here to hurt you. My name is Rondo, and I am looking for that baby marmoset.”

“I’m sure you are, but we aren’t going to give him to someone that’ll eat him,” you say.

“You don’t understand. I was sent by Mellku’s family to find him,” Rondo tells you.

“Mellku?” you say, and the little marmoset starts to point at itself. “Do you know Rondo?” you ask while ducking low to get closer to him. Mellku shakes his head no and sidles up to you closely.

“His family was worried they’d never see him again,” Rondo says. “There are all sorts of animals out there looking for him, and not all of them are friendly!”

“Well, Rondo, how do we know you are the friendly kind?” Tocayo asks.

“It’s a long way to where he’s from, and I’m just big enough to take him there,” Rondo says.

“That doesn’t answer my question,” Tocayo says.

You say:

“Thanks for the offer, Rondo. We’ve taken him this far and we’ll take him the rest of the way.”{B-VI-B}

or

“That sounds exhausting. If Mellku is willing to go with you, we’ll agree to let you take him.”{B-VI-A}
