“It’s time to get you back to your family little one,” you tell Mellku. He jumps on our back right before you take off with Sunny and Tocayo.

“You’re going the wrong way,” Rondo says. “At least let me show you how to get there.” You follow Rondo as he leads you over the vast Andes Mountains. As you fatigue you think about how it would be impossible to fly any higher when you notice a pair of Puna Hawks fly overhead.

The five of you quickly descend trying not to be seen by the hawks. Too late. You see their eyes widen when they spot Mellku on your back. You fly as fast as your wings will take you.

“I’ll try to slow them down,” Tocayo bravely proclaims. The toucan flies straight at the pair of predators, surprising them with his head-on attack and forcing them to veer away momentarily. This gives you a chance to fly over the mountaintop ahead, but the hawks are fast and they begin to catch up.

One of the hawks pushes Sunny as it passes and you sense that you can only stay ahead of them for a few more seconds. Suddenly, a hard green fig flies past your beak and hits one of the hawks in the wing. Then several more figs hit the pair of hawks. The constant bombardment is too much for the pair of hawks. Before you know it, you hear the cheering of the marmosets down below as they watch the hawks fly away.

You land in the middle of the defending marmoset troupe upon the largest tree branch imaginable. The marmoset crowd opens up to allow two adult marmosets through. Mellku jumps off of your back and runs, jumping into their welcoming arms.

The marmosets exuberantly greet Mellku by embracing him and tossing him into the air joyously. Overjoyed, they finally turn to you, and hop toward you excitedly.

“Young hero! I am Sapa, and this is Qoya, we are Mellku’s royal parents. We are most fortunate that you have been sent here to bring our baby home. You haven’t always been a bird, have you?” Sapa asks.

“How did you know that?” you ask, surprised by his insight.

“I sense the heroic human nature within you,” Sapa says. “And we offer to let you live among us as an honored member of our royal troupe. Our shaman Yatiri can transform you into one of us.”

You say:

“I love the idea of being royalty. You seem carefree and fun-loving. Do you play all of the time?”{B-VII-A}

or

“Can Yatiri transform me into anything? I would really like to be human again.” {B-VII-B}
