“So go ahead and tell me my future,” you say.

“Which one?” Wallungunder asks.

“What do you mean, which one? I want to know what my future holds for me. Like what job I will have and where I will live and how old I will get,” you say.

“That depends, young one, “ he tells you. “I know all of your many possible futures and I can tell you as many as you would like to hear. Your future isn’t set right now. No one’s is. It all depends on the choices you make and the reasons behind those choices. I can tell you what happens at the end of many of your possible futures.”

“I didn’t know it was like that,” you say. “I thought I had one future, and you could tell me how my life would turn out. Now, I am a bit concerned.”

“You have already demonstrated the path that you most likely will choose,” Wallungunder assures you. “Just think of this part of your journey. You have already shown yourself to be someone that works hard when you delivered all of those packages. You demonstrated trust in others when you allowed me to help you and Winston escape from the magician. You revealed the greatest quality when you went out of your way to help me and Winston. The greatest futures are reserved for those that recognize that we are all connected and need to take care of each other. Your most likely future is filled with happiness, fun, friendship, hard work, and love. Do you want to see it? ” Wallungunder asks.

“I will...just not yet. I will live it,” you say.
