The fire is getting dangerously close, so you rush over to the creature. It grabs your arm with its jaws and you immediately regret your decision. You pull back and it yanks you down to the ground. You are scared until you notice two of its young hiding in the brush.

“Please help my joeys,” the strange animal begs.

“Winston, protect those little ones,” you say, pointing in the direction of the brush. You release the creature’s leg from the vines. It rushes over to its young, grabs each one, and flings them up on its back.

“It isn’t safe to go back. Follow me,” the creature pleads.

“I can transport us to safety,” Winston says.

“No, not yet. I need to get the others,” the creature replies.

You follow the creature through the woods and into a den hidden in the underbrush where you find another adult and four juvenile animals. Winston magically teleports all of you to safety.

“Thank you!” they say in unison.

“I have never seen an animal like all of you,” you tell them.

“We are thylacines,” they explain, “and maybe the last of our kind. We need to go deep into the uncharted forest, where we can live in peace away from human habitation.”

With Winston’s help you relocate the thylacines to a safe place where they can live their secret lives, and eventually work with the Tasmanian authorities to make a protected wildlife sanctuary out of their forest home. You become known around the world for finding an animal that everyone thought was extinct. You and Winston get hired to find missing animals everywhere you go.
