“How will we ever find the pet shop again?” Lolo asks.

“Maybe we shouldn’t,” you tell her. “You can go home with me.”

“Going to a nice new home’s a tempting offer,” Singer says, “but I don’t feel right doing that without knowing what’s happened to the rest of our friends.”

“I really miss them,” Lolo says sadly.

“I didn’t know that,” you admit. “I’ll help you find it.”

“Actually,” Tasi says. “It might be a better idea for us to split up. You kind of slow us down.”

You are saddened by the suggestion yet know it is true. You decide to leave them and go home. You sit down on your bed and feel something hard in your pocket. You take out the piece of broken brick and place it next to you. You wonder if you will ever use it to animate anything again, or just keep it as a reminder of your adventure with the magical pet shop.
