“Fine,” Winston says. “I can tell you about some on our way.” He takes flight and you follow him up the road to the edge of town. The smoke is thicker here, and stings your eyes.

As you get to the top of a hill, you see that there are two different fires. You feel sad as you can tell that one fire is engulfing the woods and many animals are trapped. The other fire threatens a local horse ranch. You aren’t sure where to go and you know you can’t help both places.

“Should we split up?” you ask Winston.

“No, that’d be too dangerous,” he replies. “If we are going to do this, we must do it together.”

“Agreed,” you say.

“They can both use our help, so who gets it?” Winston asks.

You say:

“The people seem to have better control of the situation, and those animals are panicking!” {W-5-B}

Or

“Fire’s part of nature here, and animals always seem to survive. We need to help those people!” {W-5-A}
