You start to open the locks on some of the cells that Tasi indicates.

“I tried to warn you,” Singer says. “And now I am going to warn the shopkeeper.”

You immediately cover your ears as the dog lets out the loudest, most drawn-out howling you have ever heard. You realize that everyone within blocks of here will hear this, including the pet shop owner.

“We’ve almost freed all of the important dogs. Keep going,” Tasi urges.

“What makes a dog important?” Singer asks.

“The way they look,” Tasi says, looking in your direction. “You know what I mean, right?”

“Umm.. .I...I...Umm” you stutter.

You hear angry footsteps running down the wooden escalator. You quickly look around, not knowing what to do. You think about rounding up the dogs you’ve released when you notice they seemed to have left.

“Thanks,” Lolo says before ducking out of an opening in the back of the dungeon where a piece of the wall has crumbled away.

Panicked, you run to the back of the room, squeeze yourself through the opening, and find yourself in a back room of the pet shop. You suddenly feel trapped and then you notice an emergency back door. You try to say something before Tasi jumps up and hits the bar to open the door.

The alarm sounds, indicating where you are exiting, but you just want to get out of there. You run through the door and the three blocks home. You are not going to show your face again at that pet shop.
