“We need information,” Neko-chan tells you.

“Right,” you say. “What information?”

“We need to find out what he’s doing with those animals,” Neko-chan says.

“Right,” you say, “How are we going to do that?”

“I’m going to tell you the plan, if you stop with the questions,” Neko-chan says.

“Oh, sorry. Please continue,” you say.

“I don’t need your permission,” Neko-chan says. “Maybe I chose the wrong human for the job!”

“I thought I’d chosen you!” you say. Neko-chan smirks, and then you realize that he’s right. He really did choose you in the first place.

“I’m sorry, Neko-chan,” you say. “I really do want to help, so please tell me what you know.”

“I know that there are animals missing and that the pet shop owner is involved,” Neko-chan says. “I don’t know who else might be part of it. We need to find the pet shop owner, figure out his plan, and rescue the missing animals if we can.”

“That sounds like a solid plan,” you say. “What do we do first?”

“The pet shop owner spends most of his day in his office when the pet shop is open,” Neko-chan says. “At night, and sometimes during the day, he takes an animal and goes through the door over there.”

“There is a door there?” you ask, looking in the direction Neko-chan indicates. “That looks like a wall. What’s behind there?”

“That’s what we need to find out,” Neko-chan says. “I know that he takes them through the door and it looked like down a flight of stairs. I only get a glimpse each time.”

You say:

“We can sneak up to his office and start spying on him.” {C-4-D}

“Do you have any idea how to get into the secret door?” {C-4-C}
