You open the cage and Sunny immediately jumps on your arm, causing you to drop the bag of food. She shoves her face into the bag and eats as much and as fast as she can. Is she growing, you think to yourself. Seconds later, you fall to the floor as the little parrot expands massively into a ten foot tall sun conure.

“Hop on. We are headed to El Dorado,” Sunny says as she crouches down. You jump up onto her back and she launches the two of you into the air. “Hold on tightly!” she warns before she uses her beak to break through a window in the back of the pet shop. She rushes straight up into the sky, past the clouds and into the stratosphere. The unbroken panoramic view of the nights sky dazzles you. You lose your sense of time and space until you feel the rush of wind as she descends into a lush rainforest canopy.

You are admiring the beauty of the rainforest when you are hit in the face with something. Before you know what is happening, both you and Sunny are trapped in a huge net that has dropped from the tree branches, and you begin plummeting toward the ground. The net closes around you both and now you are hanging upside down, inches from the ground. Dazed from the impact, you try to make out your surroundings. You see a group of people staring and pointing at you and your giant bird.

You can’t understand what they are saying, but they immediately free you from the net. It seems to you by their actions that they see you as an important person with special powers since you flew in on a giant magical bird. They gather up their net and motion for you to follow them.

“Where do you think they are taking us?” you ask Sunny as you begin following the people.

“I don’t know and I don’t care. Jump back on, and we can continue on our way,” Sunny suggests.

“That seems a bit rude,” you say nudging her. “Plus, they still have that big net.”

The people guide you through the forest. You hear other people talking in the distance.

“I want to go home and I would like for you to come with me,” Sunny says, reminding you. “I don’t want to wait forever.”

“Aren’t you curious about where we’re going?” you ask.

“No!” Sunny exclaims and starts to flap her wings. “Are you coming or not?”

You say:

“You’re right, Sunny. I’d better get you home as soon as possible.” {B-V-E}

or

“Please just wait a few more minutes. I really want to see where we are going.” {B-V-F}
